How to choose the most suitable length?
Length Options: 6/8/10/15m (from 3 pin plug to Type 2 plug including control box). We recommend choosing the length that is at least 2-3 metres longer than the direct distance between the parking space and socket to ensure flexible charging.

Can use the Type 2 EV charger with any UK socket?
Ideally use a new BS 1363-2/EV rated sockets, have home wiring checked by professionals, and install a dedicated circuit with RCD. Ordinary UK 3 pin socket (BS 1363) aren't suitable for charging EVs for long time, risking overheating and tripping.

How to stop charging?
First unplug the type 2 plug after stopping charging on the vehicle settings or unlocking the vehicle. Then unplug the 3 pin plug from the socket or switch off the socket.

What should to do if the Type 2 EV charger gets hot?
Please ensure the cable is fully unfolded to minimize heating. If abnormally high temperatures (hot to the touch) are detected, immediately disconnect the power and tell us.
