SHEPHERDS OR WOLVES | Nana K Opoku

Product Description

“SHEPHERDS OR WOLVES” by Nana K Opoku is a powerful Christian gospel song that challenges religious manipulation, greed and the misuse of God’s name for personal gain.

Through bold, thought-provoking lyrics, the song questions religious leaders who exploit the faith of vulnerable people by demanding money, selling promises of miracles and using fear to control their followers. It challenges the contrast between preaching God’s love and pursuing personal wealth, power and influence.

The song calls for honesty, compassion and accountability in spiritual leadership. It reminds listeners that genuine shepherds should care for people, support those in need and lead them towards God rather than making themselves the centre of attention.

Inspired by the example of Jesus Christ, who served the broken, welcomed the rejected and cared for the poor, “SHEPHERDS OR WOLVES” encourages listeners to examine what they hear, seek the truth and recognise the difference between sincere spiritual guidance and exploitation.

With its fearless message and strong Christian foundation, this song calls for a return to faith rooted in love, truth, humility and genuine service.

The Message Behind the Song

“SHEPHERDS OR WOLVES” asks an important question: are spiritual leaders truly serving God’s people, or are they using their position to serve themselves?

The lyrics challenge the practice of putting a price on blessings, making salvation appear available for money and taking advantage of people who are already struggling. They remind listeners that faith should not be used as a tool for manipulation, fear or financial control.

The song also recognises sincere pastors, preachers and spiritual leaders who genuinely care for others, encouraging them to continue serving with integrity and compassion.

Its central message is clear: God sees beyond religious titles, appearances and public promises. True spiritual leadership should reflect the love, humility and compassion of Jesus Christ.
